James Ro is an entrepreneur with a passion for providing innovative, simple, and flexible solutions to reduce operating costs using alternative energy. James acquired ComTech Energy in 2015 and has since grown the company to become the leading CNG infrastructure developer in Canada. Prior to ComTech, he spent most of his career advising companies on mergers and acquisitions and raising growth capital. James holds an Honours BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Marie-Geneviève has made a career out of building and maintaining positive relationships in the alternative energy industry. Marie spent six years as the Canadian Sales Manager for ANGI Energy Systems and was responsible for developing and growing their CNG presence in Canada. Prior to joining ANGI, she was a Sales Director at Xebec Adsorption where she was responsible for the co-ordination and management of their natural gas, industrial gas and biogas activities. Marie has accumulated more than 17 years of industry experience in CNG, RNG and biogas in North America and overseas, including Asia and the Middle East.
Vice President of Product Development
Chris is a mechanical engineer with over 15 years of experience in the CNG and alternative fuel industries in North America and internationally. He has deep knowledge and vast experience in designing CNG stations, compressor packages, dispensers, gas control panels, decanting skids and “Mother-Daughter” virtual pipeline networks. Chris is a Professional Engineer and has an MBA in Finance from the University of Manitoba.
Vice President of Service and Commissioning
Steve is a certified G1 gas fitter with over 15 years of experience in the natural gas industry. He has deep knowledge of gas utilities and spent over 10 years working on special projects for Enbridge Gas & Distribution, one of largest gas utilities in North America.
Vice President of Operations
Sam is responsible for the strategic direction of ComTech’s advanced manufacturing initiatives. As ComTech Energy continues to expand and broaden its alternative energy horizons Sam’s experience in managerial roles at L3Harris Wescam (laser optics in the global defense industry) and two tech start-ups (drones and smart glasses) in the Waterloo Tech Hub, will play a key role. Sam graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Physics.

Audra has over 20 years’ experience working with boards, CEO’s and senior executives in H/R strategy development, organizational design, culture & values, leadership development, team effectiveness and employee engagement. She is passionate about developing leadership capacity, building engaging and healthy cultures, and creating more strategic and effective organizations.
