From four employees and a focus on off-road vehicles in Ontario, to over 35 employees and a growth focus on heavy-duty trucks across the country, ComTech has become the leading developer of alternative fuel infrastructure in Canada.
Formed in 2009, ComTech’s roots came from designing/ installing/maintaining CNG fuelling stations for ice-resurfacers and forklifts in Ontario. James Ro acquired ComTech in early 2015 based on the CNG adoption trend in the U.S. over the last 10+ years with a focus on heavy-duty trucks (over 1,800 natural gas fuelling stations and 40,000 heavy-duty CNG trucks). James wanted to take the company to next level and play a leading role in developing the CNG industry in Canada. We have accomplished a lot since 2015.
Expanded the team from 4 to over 35 employees, including engineers, mechanical technicians and electricians.
